WalletHub study looks at states in need of loans


MARYVILLE, Mo. - A new study could show troubling signs for two states in the KXCV/KRNW listening area.

WalletHub shows that Nebraska and Kansas ranked 3rd and 5th in the U.S., when it comes to residents seeking out loans due to the coronavirus pandemic.

For the study, WalletHub says that they combined internal credit report information with data on Google search increases for three loan-related terms.

As for Iowa and Missouri, they ranked 21st and 27th. Number one in the nation, was North Carolina. The full study can be found here.
